Empowering the Future for Youth in Foster Care

Over 32% of kids in foster care are ages 13-18.

Some have been in care for many years but more have come into care as teenagers. These are often called the unseen or invisible kids because they are harder to place in foster families so they seem to get lost in the system of group homes.

When adoption is needed they are often the last ones to be helped and age out of care before families can be identified.

At VKB we are shining the light on these kids during this season of giving. We want to empower them to build a strong future and reach for their dreams.
